📄️ Real-Time vs Batch analytics
Real-time analytics, sometimes referred to as streaming analytics or real-time data analytics, is the practice of gathering, processing, and evaluating data as it is generated, with the least amount of latency or delay possible. Real-time analytics offers insights and actionable information nearly instantly after data is created or ingested, in contrast to typical batch processing, which gathers and analyzes data at predetermined intervals. In a variety of fields and applications where prompt decision-making is essential, this talent is very beneficial.

Grafieks can establish two types of connections to your database. They are:
📄️ Data platform connections
Before you can start running analytical queries on data stored in a database, you have to connect Grafieks to your database. You do this by creating a data source from one of the supported databases listed below.
📄️ Connect live to a database
The first step to do before creating a report is to connect Grafieks to your SQL database or data warehouse, in case you have not already connected to your database before and saved it.
📄️ Connect real-time to a database
